Baseball Recap: Beauregard Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Beauregard lost against Reeltown last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Beauregard Hornets fell just short of the Reeltown Rebels by a score of 5-4.

Beauregard's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Reeltown, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beauregard will face off against Smiths Station at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Reeltown, they will square off against Dadeville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Dadeville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.
