Sam Weichbrodt commands the offense for a Lions win

Recap: Northwest Yeshiva Lions vs. Puget Sound Adventist Sharks

The Northwest Yeshiva Lions's four-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 82-60 margin over Puget Sound Adventist. With that victory, Northwest Yeshiva brought their scoring average up to 57.2 points per game.

Northwest Yeshiva's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sam Weichbrodt led the charge by scoring 24 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Weichbrodt has scored at least 25% of Northwest Yeshiva's points. Another player making a difference was Evan Kaufthal, who scored 14 points along with six assists and four steals.

As for Puget Sound Adventist, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Muckleshoot Tribal at 7:00 p.m.
