Football Recap: Poston Butte Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Poston Butte extended their losing streak to eight on Friday, dropping them down to 0-8. They lost 35-12 to the Arcadia Titans. The Broncos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2021.

When it comes to explaining why Poston Butte lost, don't look at Easton Filetti. Despite the final result, he rushed for 143 yards and two TDs.

As for Arcadia, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 37.5 points this season.

It was another big night for Ryan Jimenez, who rushed for 164 yards and three scores while picking up 10.3 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.

Looking ahead, Poston Butte will challenge Combs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Coyotes' defense has only allowed 8.5 points per game this season, so the Broncos' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Arcadia, they will square off against Eastmark at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
