The Haughton Buccaneers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their tenth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 56-22 loss at the hands of Captain Shreve. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Haughton has scored all season.

Captain Shreve's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Marcus Lofton led the charge by scoring 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ejoshua Mcdonald, who scored nine points along with three steals.

Haughton has been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-19 record this season. As for Captain Shreve, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 23-5.

Haughton will look to defend their home court on Friday against Parkway at 6:00 p.m. Haughton is coming into the match with six straight losses at home, meaning Parkway will have to defend against a team hungry for a win. As for Captain Shreve, they will head out on the road to take on Byrd at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Captain Shreve focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six on Tuesday.
