Baseball Recap: Keshequa Indians vs. Northstar Christian Academy Knights
Keshequa proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by 12) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Northstar Christian Academy Knights 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Indians have posted since April 24th.
Nolan Therrien made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of Keshequa's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 4-5 when he doesn't).
