Soccer Recap: Summer Creek Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Summer Creek was forced to settle for a draw. They and the Westfield Mustangs finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Thursday.

With that draw, Summer Creek's record moves to 1-1-1. As for Westfield, they moved theirs to 2-3-1.

Summer Creek will be taking part in a tournament against Dekaney at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Summer Creek's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Westfield, it'll be an old-fashioned rodeo when the Westfield take on the Dayton at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
