Football Recap: Lake Braddock Bruins vs. South County Stallions

After flying high against West Potomac last Friday, Lake Braddock came back down to earth. The Bruins were just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 23-22 to the South County Stallions. The game marked the Bruins' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Lake Braddock lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Samuel Rhye, who rushed for 161 yards and one score. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyrone Jackson, who threw for 183 yards and one touchdown.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lake Braddock fell to 7-1. As for South County, they pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Lake Braddock has already played their next contest, a 35-0 win against Fairfax on the 31st. As for South County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 20-7 victory against West Potomac on the 31st.
