Soccer Recap: East Lee County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Gateway Charter last Wednesday, East Lee County came back down to earth. The East Lee County Jaguars lost 8-0 to the Gateway Eagles on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

East Lee County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12-2. As for Gateway, they now have a winning record of 9-8-2.

East Lee County didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-4 loss against Dunbar on the 22nd. Gateway has also already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Island Coast on the 17th.
