Softball Recap: Jefferson Wins Going Away Against Tea

Jefferson had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Tea on Thursday. The Cavaliers blew past the Titans 15-3.

Brooklyn Herrera was incredible, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Peyten Krull, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jefferson will welcome Mitchell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tea, they will host Lincoln at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
