On Friday, John Hardin didn't have too much trouble with Mercer County as they won 27-10. The Bulldogs pushed the score to 27-3 by the end of the third, a deficit the Titans cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, there was early excitement for Franklin-Simpson after they claimed the first score on Thursday, but it was Glasgow who ended up claiming the real prize. The Wildcats fell just short of the Scotties by a score of 27-24. Wildcats fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Scotties since Thursday.

John Hardin has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.3 points over those games. As for Franklin-Simpson, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
