Volleyball Recap: East Catholic Takes a Loss

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when East Catholic and Berlin meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Eagles fell 3-1 to the Redcoats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2022.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 24-26, 25-9, 25-9.

East Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Berlin, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

East Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Bolton on the 24th. As for Berlin, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Academy of Science and Innovation on the 23rd.
