Volleyball Recap: R.J. Reynolds Comes Up Short

R.J. Reynolds was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Northwest Guilford Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss on Thursday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northwest Guilford to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cali Straub, who had six digs and four aces.

R.J. Reynolds' defeat dropped their record down to 9-18. As for Northwest Guilford, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

R.J. Reynolds does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northwest Guilford, they will challenge West Forsyth at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
