Volleyball Recap: Buffalo Comes Up Short

Buffalo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wirt County Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

Jocie Harris paced Buffalo's offense, picking up five kills. Harris got some help from Claire Sunyog and her five assists. Harris was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Buffalo's loss dropped their record down to 10-21-2. As for Wirt County, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-4-2.

Buffalo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Gilmer County on the 18th. As for Wirt County, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Poca on the 18th.
