Westminster extended their winning streak  to three  on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 11-6 in the process. They walked away with  a   10-7  win over the Northglenn Norsemen. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  5-4  on April 1st.
 Robert Atencio was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  tossed seven innings while giving up  five earned  (and two unearned) runs off   nine  hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Brian Fieros was  excellent,  going 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases and two  runs.
As for Northglenn, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost ten of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record  this season. Their loss continues a  trend for the  team, making it five in a row.
 On Northglenn's side,  Josh Dreiling was cooking despite his team's loss,   going a perfect 4-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI. Dreiling has become a key player for the Norsemen: the team is 5-1 when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 1-11 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of  Dom Ibarra, who  went 2-for-3 with three  runs and one  stolen base.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Westminster is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Prairie View  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Northglenn will  challenge  rival Boulder  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
