Soccer Recap: Boardman Takes a Loss

Boardman lost against Canfield on September 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Spartans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. Boardman fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Canfield since Thursday.

Boardman is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7-3. As for Canfield, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Boardman wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 4-0 win against Harding on the 30th. As for Canfield, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Howland on the 30th.
