McClave had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eads Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Cardinals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: McClave took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-13, 25-12.

Avery Hemphill paced McClave's offense, picking up 16 kills. Hemphill got some help from Yesenia Almanza and her 31 assists. Ashlynn Steinbrunn and Myla Oquist kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

McClave's victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Eads, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McClave will take on Walsh at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eads, they will face off against Stratton at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
