Basketball Recap: Bard Takes a Loss

On Monday, the Bard Raptors didn't have quite enough to beat the Weequahic Indians and fell 46-44. While losing is never fun, the Raptors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 648th in New York, while the Indians are ranked 230th in New Jersey).

Bard's loss dropped their record down to 10-15-1. As for Weequahic, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-7.

Bard has already played their next matchup, a 49-46 defeat against KIPP Newark Lab on the 23rd. As for Weequahic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 52-51 win against Tech on the 23rd.
