Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Walkersville). They blew past the Winters Mill Falcons 15-7 on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Gogo Ogwulu was a standout: he went 1-for-5 with one home run and four RBI. Pat Atallah was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs and one stolen base.

Walkersville's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Winters Mill, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.

As of now, neither Walkersville nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
