Wayne City had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Hamilton County Foxes. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Wayne City who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 21-25, 25-21.

Wayne City's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Hamilton County, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wayne City will square off against Webber at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Indians' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Hamilton County, they will head out to challenge Norris City-Omaha-Enfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
