Basketball Recap: Universal Comes Up Short

Universal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through an 86-53 loss at the hands of the Shepard Astros. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Stars of the 80-35 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Universal's record now sits at 4-22. As for Shepard, their win bumped their record up to 13-18.

Looking ahead, Universal will square off against Richards on Monday. Shepard does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
