Crater had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Eagle Point on Tuesday. The Comets blew past the Eagles 12-1. The result was nothing new for the Comets, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Crater has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.1 runs on average over those games. As for Eagle Point, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7.

Crater will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
