Soccer Recap: Langston Hughes Takes a Loss

Langston Hughes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 5-0 to the Trinity Christian Lions. While losing is never fun, Langston Hughes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 319th, while Trinity Christian are ranked 102nd).

Langston Hughes' defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Trinity Christian, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Langston Hughes challenge Lovejoy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Trinity Christian, they will face off against Dutchtown at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
