While Jesup's victory against South Hardin wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The J-Hawks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the Tigers on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the J-Hawks have posted since June 4, 2024.

The win got Jesup back to even at 1-1. As for South Hardin, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Jesup wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 19-12 victory against Oelwein on the 29th. As for South Hardin, they have also already played their next game, a 10-1 defeat against Roland-Story on the 29th.
