Baseball Recap: First Coast Christian Falls Short of Christ's Church Academy in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact First Coast Christian can now relate to. They came up short against the Christ's Church Academy Eagles on Monday, falling 15-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 16-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for First Coast Christian and nudges their season record down to 6-5-1. As for Christ's Church Academy, their win bumped their record up to 14-10.

First Coast Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Christ's Church Academy, they will face off against St. Johns Country Day at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
