Basketball Recap: Coyle Comes Up Short

Coyle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 44-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ripley Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Bluejackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 412th, while the Warriors are ranked 126th).

Coyle's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Ripley, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-5.

Coyle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ripley, they have already played their next game, a 53-35 victory against Mulhall-Orlando on the 11th.
