Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Soledad, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 35-21 victory over San Lorenzo Valley on Thursday. The Aztecs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Soledad's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for King City, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Everything went King City's way against Soledad when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as King City made off with a 21-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
