Football Recap: South Rowan Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for South Rowan's offense. They were dealt a 42-0 loss at the hands of the Jay M. Robinson Bulldogs on Friday. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Landon Deal threw for 29 yards on six of 14 attempts. On the ground, Jayden Arthur rushed for 61 yards.

Jay M. Robinson's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lj Watson, who rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. Ennis Stiles was another key rusher, rushing for 98 yards and one TD.

South Rowan now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Jay M. Robinson, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

South Rowan didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 42-7 defeat against Salisbury on the 17th. As for Jay M. Robinson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 49-0 win against West Rowan on the 17th.
