Football Recap: Norborne/Hardin-Central Falls Short of Wellington-Napoleon in the Playoffs

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Norborne/Hardin-Central couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 44-30 bruising from the Wellington-Napoleon Tigers on Friday. Norborne/Hardin-Central was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Wellington-Napoleon earlier this season, when they won 54-42.

When it comes to explaining why Norborne/Hardin-Central lost, don't look at Sam Barnett. Despite the final result, he picked up 165 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Having lost for the first time this season, Norborne/Hardin-Central fell to 10-1. As for Wellington-Napoleon, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.
