Dunbar is 6-1 against Coolidge since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Crimson Tide will be playing at home against the Colts at 4:30 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

While Dunbar's win against McKinley Tech wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Crimson Tide sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the Trainers on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Crimson Tide in their matchups with the Trainers: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, Coolidge waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Panthers.

The team relied heavily on Isaac Sanders, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last nine games he's played. Another player making a difference was Orion Fernandez, who earned one run and three stolen bases.

Coolidge's victory bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Dunbar, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Everything went Dunbar's way against Coolidge in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Dunbar made off with a 16-0 victory. Do the Crimson Tide have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Colts turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
