Soccer Recap: South Rowan Takes a Loss

After soaring to six goals the game before, South Rowan was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Robinson Bulldogs. South Rowan were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Robinson earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

South Rowan has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season. As for Robinson, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Rowan will welcome Concord at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. South Rowan will be up against Concord's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.05 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Robinson, they will be playing at home against Parkwood at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
