Football Recap: Glendora Comes Up Short

Glendora's last matchup with Aquinas could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Friday. The Tartans were dealt a 34-7 defeat at the hands of the Falcons. The Tartans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-7.

Sebastian Lawrence threw for 70 yards and one touchdown. Dylan Hynes was his top target, picking up 39 receiving yards and one score.

Glendora's loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Aquinas, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Glendora will be playing in front of their home fans against Northview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Aquinas, they are taking a road trip to challenge Bonita at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
