Volleyball Recap: Mounds View Comes Up Short

Mounds View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Century Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2017.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-15.

Mounds View's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Century, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-10.

Mounds View wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Hopkins on the 4th. As for Century, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Hastings on the 4th.
