Volleyball Game Preview: Lakeside Lutheran Warriors vs. Wilmot Panthers

The Lakeside Lutheran Warriors will square off against the Wilmot Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wilmot took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Lakeside Lutheran, who comes in off a win.

Wilmot will be up against a hot Lakeside Lutheran team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Everything went the Warriors' way against Columbus on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Warriors not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 18th (when they won 3-0).

While Lakeside Lutheran might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Columbus scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Wilmot suffered their biggest defeat since September 16th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Union Grove.

Wilmot was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-5, 25-22.

Wilmot has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season. As for Lakeside Lutheran, their victory bumped their record up to 15-22.
