Basketball Recap: Goleman Takes a Loss

Goleman's tournament run continued when they took on Dr. Joaquin Garcia on Tuesday. The Gators fell 62-51 to the Bulldogs.

Dr. Joaquin Garcia's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cristian Brown, who made all 6 shots he took to post 12 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Cody Hollis, who posted nine points and five rebounds.

Goleman's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Dr. Joaquin Garcia, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Goleman won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Carol City at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dr. Joaquin Garcia, they and Mater Brickell Academy will face off at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played.
