Volleyball Recap: GVCS Broadfording Takes a Loss + How To Watch

GVCS Broadfording came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to New Life Christian. The Lions have struggled against New Life Christian recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

While GVCS Broadfording was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-17, 25-10.

New Life Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Naomi Quinn out in front who had 17 kills, five digs, and five aces. That's the most kills Quinn has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Alayna Head, who had six digs and five aces.

GVCS Broadfording's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for New Life Christian, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-8.

While GVCS Broadfording had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on the 14th.
