Football Recap: Davis Extends Home Winning Streak to Three

Davis had won three straight at home, but on Friday they bumped up to 7-2 to make it four. They walked away with a 23-14 victory over the Holdenville Wolverines. For the Wolves, this counts as revenge for the 22-15 win the Wolverines walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Holdenville fell to 8-1. The contest marked their lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Although Holdenville took the loss, they still got scores from Abe Gomez and Bo Black.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Davis will challenge rival Community Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Holdenville is set to square off against their familiar foe Comanche at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
