Danbury lost to Evadale on January 9th, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Panthers pulled ahead with a 45-44 photo finish over the Rebels. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won five contests in a row.

Danbury's record now sits at 23-5. As for Evadale, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-11.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Danbury is set to square off against their familiar foe Sabine Pass at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Evadale will face off against rival West Hardin at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
