Newaygo posted their closest win since May 13th on Friday. They won by a run and slipped past the White Cloud Indians 7-6. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 10-2 win back in April.

Newaygo let Zachary Yearsovich and Sebastion Bellanger run wild. Yearsovich went 1-for-5 with three RBI and one run, while Bellanger went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI. That's the most RBI Yearsovich has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Brock Wismar, who went 1-for-5 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Newaygo now has a winning record of 17-16-1. As for White Cloud, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-15.

As of now, neither Newaygo nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
