Basketball Recap: Warwick Comes Up Short

Warwick lost against Kecoughtan on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Warwick Raiders might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 61-51 to the Kecoughtan Warriors, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Warwick's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Kecoughtan, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-8.

Warwick and Kecoughtan could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings. Warwick will take on Hampton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday down 203 places (247 vs. 44). Similarly, Kecoughtan (ranked 130th) will meet Woodside (ranked seventh) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
