Soccer Recap: DeKalb vs. Kaneland
DeKalb was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 4-2 to the Kaneland Knights. The Barbs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.
DeKalb's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Kaneland, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6-1 record this season.
Both are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. DeKalb will head out to take on Jacobs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kaneland, they will take on Freeport at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
