Basketball Recap: Morris Comes Up Short

Morris was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 31-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of Riverdale/Kingsbridge Academy. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 37-24 back in December of 2024.

Morris' record now sits at 0-8. As for Riverdale/Kingsbridge Academy, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-5 record.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Young Women's Leadership the next time they take the court. Morris will head out to face Young Women's Leadership at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Riverdale/Kingsbridge Academy will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on January 28th.
