Luke Samples posted a new career-low in hits on Tuesday. He did his part (and then some), keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 13 over six innings pitched for the 'W'. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
