Soccer Game Preview: Mountain View vs. Redmond/Culver

The Mountain View Cougars will challenge the Redmond/Culver Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Mountain View turned things around against Ridgeview on Friday. They and the Ravens finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Redmond/Culver won against Caldera last Friday with three goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Friday. The Panthers walked away with a 3-1 victory over Bend. That's two games straight that Redmond/Culver have won by exactly two goals.

Mountain View's draw gives them a new season record of 0-4-2. As for Redmond/Culver, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Mountain View came up short against Redmond/Culver when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 5-3. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
