Volleyball Recap: North Takes a Loss

North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Fitchburg Red Raiders, falling 3-0. The Polar Bears were not able to make up for their loss to the Red Raiders from their previous meeting back in April of 2023.

North was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-22, 25-15.

North's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Fitchburg, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North will welcome Abby Kelley Foster at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Fitchburg, they will host North Middlesex Regional at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
