StoneBridge won the last time they faced Peninsula Catholic and things went their way on Monday too. The Cavaliers' defense stepped up to hand the Knights a 2-0 shutout. The win was just business as usual for StoneBridge, who after five games remain undefeated this season.

Sarah Busby and Lilly Stimson scored both of StoneBridge's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

StoneBridge's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Peninsula Catholic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coming up, StoneBridge will challenge Gateway Christian at 4:30 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Peninsula Catholic, they have already played their next game, a 6-0 defeat against Norfolk Collegiate on the 15th.
