Basketball Recap: Harvard Comes Up Short

Harvard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 81-42 loss at the hands of the Johnsburg Skyhawks. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 715th, while the Skyhawks are ranked 351st).

Harvard's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Johnsburg, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harvard will face off against Big Foot at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Johnsburg, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Richmond-Burton at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Johnsburg's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 11 games.
