Basketball Recap: Luling Comes Up Short

Luling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 43-17 to the Poth Pirates. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Luling's defeat dropped their record down to 8-21. As for Poth, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 19-8.

Luling has already played their next contest (against Goliad), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Poth will head out to square off against Nixon-Smiley at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
