Volleyball Recap: Winters Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Winters lost against Williams back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors came up short against the Yellowjackets, falling 3-0.

Winters was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-10, 25-18.

Despite the loss, Winters still got an impressive performance from Maci Dodic, who had four aces and one block. Dodic is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least three every time she's taken the court this season.

Winters now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Williams, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Winters didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Rio Vista on the 2nd. As for Williams, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against CORE Butte on the 4th.
