Softball Game Preview: McGregor Bulldogs vs. Clifton Cubs

For the second straight game, McGregor will face off against Clifton. McGregor will face off against Clifton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (McGregor has nine straight victories, Clifton has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Monday, McGregor was able to grind out a solid win over Clifton, taking the game 7-3.

The team relied heavily on Isabella Salas, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Brylee Seward, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

McGregor kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive games.

Clifton's loss dropped their record down to 5-7-1. As for McGregor, they pushed their record up to 19-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
