Football Recap: Creekside Seminoles vs. Forest Park Panthers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against DeSoto, Creekside was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Forest Park Panthers 65-0 on the road. The high-scoring effort was just what the Seminoles needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.
Corey Mims was a one-man wrecking crew for Creekside as he rushed for 85 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. Another big playmaker for Creekside was Ced Kelley, who returned a punt for a touchdown.
Another reason for the win was Creekside's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Tavarre Terrell was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up threehimself.
